理事長的話

 

首先感謝本會會員醫師的支持，在一團祥和的氣氛下組成了理監事會，也承蒙大家的厚愛讓小弟當合併後的理事長。

這是一個責任的承擔，蜘蛛人說：力量愈大丶責任愈大。感謝一群力量大的理監事及幹部一起來卓越台南市牙醫師公會。

從參與公會事務以來，一直在思考公會的目的意義是什麼？集合所有1千多名牙醫師的聲音、力量應該是很大的。我們理應可以捍衛自己的權利、共同提升醫療及生活品質。而從2018年7月2日口腔保健巡迴車上路後，感謝理監事們前兩個月的義診，也感謝日後利用巡迴車做國小預防保健及偏遠社區醫療的熱心醫師們，台南牙醫有您們真好。口腔衞教是牙醫師的社會責任，近幾年來的國小潔牙觀摩及身障潔牙比賽，充分展現出台南市牙醫師們的公益心。這是一個互相鼓勵丶互相友援，存善心發善念的台南市牙醫師公會。

Message from the President

First of all, I am grateful to all the member dentists of the Association for their support. Thank you for making the Board of Directors and Supervisors a harmonious and delightful group and for trusting me with the presidentship after the merger. There comes a responsibility. As Spider-Man says, “With great power comes great responsibility.” I am thankful that the directors, supervisors, and officers with great power are joining hands to make Tainan Dental Association thrive. Since I got involved in the Association’s affairs, I have been thinking about what the objective of the Association is. The voice and the power of more than a thousand dentists must be great. Together, we shall be able to stand up for our rights, enhance healthcare quality, and improve the quality of life. The mobile oral health van hit the road on July 2, 2018, and I have to thank the directors and supervisors for working as volunteers in the first two months, as well as the enthusiastic dentists who have used the vehicle to do preventive health care in elementary schools and provide dental care in remote communities. How wonderful it is to have you in Tainan. Dentists have a social responsibility for giving oral health education. Over the past few years, dentists in Tainan have fully shown their interest in the public welfare through oral hygiene demonstrations for elementary school students and oral hygiene competitions for the disabled. We encourage one another; we give friendly support for one another; we have a compassionate heart and aspire to compassionate acts. We are Tainan Dental Association.
